Detox Water How It Works and Its Cleansing Benefits

detox water

Drinking water and eating healthy are essential to staying healthy and active. The beauty of detox water is that it combines both. We all need the vitamins and nutrients that come from fruits and veggies, however, eating the proper amount per day is a challenge. Drinking fruit-infused water supplies your body with the hydration it needs as well as vitamins and minerals from the fruits you add.

Between eating processed foods and absorbing harmful toxins, your body can become overloaded and sluggish. The best way to combat harmful elements is to feed your system with ingredients that will work to eliminate waste and toxins. There are tons of ways to clean out your system, but you can't go wrong with an all-natural drink!

The Benefits of Drinking Detox Water

Our bodies need a significant amount of water per day to remain hydrated and stay healthy. Drinking water infused with healthy ingredients helps your body consume a more substantial amount of fruits and vegetables. One of the primary benefits of detox water is that it helps to remove toxins and wastes in the body. Your system naturally eliminates toxins through the kidneys and liver. However, detox water aids in speeding up the process. Waste is also removed from the colon faster as well.

This brand of detox water is bioactive aloe water infused with electrolytes, vitamins, and antioxidants. It's an all-natural drink with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives — and it's certified USDA organic too. Plus, it's only 30 calories. Each bottle contains 350mg of ActiveAloe which is clinically proven to enhance skin elasticity, immune health, digestive health, and nutrient absorption.

You can purchase it on the company website or Amazon. The Bioactive site has a store locator option as well. One user stated that she recommends the product to anyone who wants to heal from an illness or simply feel better. However, some of the reviewers thought that the water worked well but was overpriced.

How We Reviewed

We researched Bioactive Aloe Detox water and learned as much as we could about the company and its values. We read through customer reviews to ensure that their experiences complied with the company's claims. Our goal was to determine if the product was worth buying and if it worked. We also compared the aloe water to homemade detox recipes to decide which was best. Ultimately, we based our decision off of customer testimonies.

Detox Water Recipes

Although we are reviewing the Aloe detox water in this article, there are DIY water recipes that you can try. The perks to making your own recipe include that you can add in the fruit and ingredients that suit your taste. You can either make them individually or put the ingredients into a pitcher. It's best to let it refrigerate for a couple of hours so that the fruit has an opportunity to infuse into the water.

The Name Brand VS. DIY Recipe

The primary difference between the two is that the Bioactive brand is specially formulated with health-improving minerals. The name brand also has aloe in it. However, you can buy your own aloe juice to add to your recipe.

Also, Bioactive is certified organic. You can buy any type of fruit that you want for your homemade water, but if you want the added health benefit, you can buy all organic ingredients.

Due to the formulation of the name brand, it might have an advantage over the DIY version. On the other hand, the ingredients you add into your water can be just as healthy. Both the name brand and DIY versions provide benefits, but the aloe water contains more health-improving elements.

Is detox water safe?

It's safe to drink detox water because it contains the minerals that help out bodies function properly. If you want to be more cautious, you can use filtered water rather than tap. And, per our research on the Bioactive brand, we haven't seen any reviews about harmful side effects of drinking it.

The only bit of caution is regarding the decision to drink detox water as a fast, without food. If you choose to do a water-only diet, be sure to check with your doctor first. Otherwise, you can't go wrong with drinking tons of water infused with fruit and other healthy ingredients.

What We Think

There is no downside to drinking water that's saturated with healthy minerals, whether it's name brand or DIY. In regards to Bioactive aloe water, we think it's worth buying. According to customers, it tastes good, and it made them feel better. We definitely believe that it lives up to the hype and works as advertised. The only drawback is the cost.

However, you have the option of drinking a homemade recipe regularly and only drinking the aloe water sparingly. With that said, the plus side of making your won detox water is that it's cost-effective. And not only is it inexpensive, it still provides loads of health benefits. Both of these options are good choices.
